Search Office Space’s Daniel Howard Shortlisted for ‘Young Deal of the Year’ Property Award 2012
As many readers of the Search Office Space Blog will know, our very own Director, Daniel Howard, was last week nominated for the YN Property Award: Young Deal of the Year 2012.
Search Office Space can now reveal that Daniel is one step closer to the award, after being shortlisted by Norwood and Property Week! So a big congratulations are in order!
Daniel Howard’s nomination for ‘Deal of the Year’ refers to one of the biggest property deals to take place in the City of London in 2011. Daniel was responsible for Groupon’s move into a managed office at Seal House, London Bridge. The new office space occupies over 52,000sqft across five floors, and will now be the company’s primary UK headquarters.
Groupon, which launched in Chicago in 2008, have quickly become the world’s fastest growing company, so this truly is a high profile, large scale, property deal which Daniel Howard and Search Office Space are extremely proud of. Daniel spent a large proportion of 2011 working on every aspect of this deal, from contacting office space providers, arranging viewings and negotiating contracts. Without him, this deal quite simply would not have been possible, so once again, we would like to congratulate Daniel on being nominated – and now – shortlisted.
Upon hearing the news, Daniel said, “It means a lot to be short listed, as it is recognition of all the hard work in 2011, specifically for this significant deal. To even be nominated was great recognition and caps a successful year”.
All those shortlisted for the YN Property Awards will be invited to the YN Property Awards Dinner 2012, taking place on Monday 27th February. Search Office Space will reveal the list of winners on this Blog after the event has come to an end, so watch this space!
