South Devon Council fit buildings with solar panels

South Devon Council is taking steps to fit 45 public buildings, including the town hall, across Torbay with solar panels, in an attempt to generate more money.

It is believed that within 25 years, it could make approximately £1.5 million from solar power. Deputy Mayor, David Thomas said in an interview with the BBC that Torbay was “one of the "best places in the country" to make use of solar energy.”

Other English councils have adopted have already taken solar energy on board!
