Woodbridge is a suburban area in the City of Vaughan, which is situated in Southern Ontario, Canada. Once a separate town, this area is now one of the Greater Toronto Area’s wealthiest suburbs. Woodbridge is situated by the Humber River and its terrain is characterised with hills and valleys that accommodate residential and commercial properties. Among the sites of interests in the area, there is: Market Lane, Pierre Berton Library, Woodbridge Fairgrounds, Kortright Centre, Kipling Gallery and others. In the city of Vaughan you can explore the McMichael Canadian Art Gallery, the Woodbridge Fairgrounds, Canada’s Wonderland theme park, Woodlots, and Old Thornhill. The area offers various options for dining and having fun. Examples include Moose & Firkin – for drinks and pub-dining, Earls Woodbridge – American and international cuisine, that includes seafood, chicken, and burgers. There is also Upscale Epiphany – which specialises in chicken wings.

Transport Information

Getting to Woodbridge is done through the Toronto Pearson International Airport, situated just 15 km (9 miles) away, or by vehicle through several roadways. Public transportation is available within the suburb through Vaughan, provided by TTC (subways), YRT and GO Transit (trains and buses). There are plans to link the airport to Vaughan in the near future with a high-speed rail link.
