Helsinki is relatively small, yet is one of the more accessible European capitals. The tidy streets are packed with restaurants, bars and shops, projecting a cosmopolitan vibe when combined with all the theaters and museums scattered throughout the city. There is great public transportation in this small community, which means nothing is more than a short tram ride away from the centre.
