Didsbury is a suburb of Manchester located about 4.5 miles to the south of the city centre. The bohemian feel and unique atmosphere of the area is difficult to find outside of London and is practically unheard of in a suburb of its size. However, the extraordinary mix of celebrities, students and young artists that Didsbury attracts due to its excellent location and quality of life has helped to make this an important stopover on the way to Manchester. Historically a rural location, the entire area underwent major development during the Industrial Revolution and remains a vital commercial destination even today.

Transport Information

East Didsbury is the closest railway station and Burnage Station is also nearby. Numerous services on the line between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport can be accessed from either of these two stations. There are several bus routes that can be used to get to Manchester city centre as well as nearby locations. The nearest airport for domestic and international flights is Manchester Airport, which is well connected to the area by regular bus transfers.
