Small portions of land were taken from five different parishes and converted into a separate village known as Gerrards Cross. It is the preferred residential location for several famous celebrities, so much so that it has earned the nickname of ‘Mini Hollywood’. In 2010, the BBC conferred the distinction of ‘UK’s Richest Town’ on Gerrards Cross, adding to its reputation as an exclusive destination.
