Liverpool is a major port city in the North West of England and the metropolitan borough of Merseyside. It is a historic city, with dozens of architecturally and culturally important buildings, and a very significant economic centre for the UK. Liverpool was European Capital of Culture in 2008 and is renowned internationally for its association with Rock ‘n’ Roll music, and particularly with Merseybeat, a form of rock-pop which took the world somewhat by storm in the 1960s. Liverpool has a proud and extensive maritime history dating back centuries and it remains one of the most active and important ports in Europe. Plans for future development of dockland areas around the city include a project called Liverpool Waters, which is intended to see £5.5 billion invested into regeneration efforts by around 2050.
Liverpool is within roughly an hour’s drive or train ride from Manchester, the largest city in the North West of England, and within easy reach of other nearby northern cities like Leeds and Sheffield. Central London can be reached by train from Liverpool within a little over two hours, while Birmingham lies roughly half way between Merseyside and the capital. Liverpool city centre is made up of a great mix of old and new architecture and office space. Major industries in the area include banking and finance, insurance, human resourcing, media, digital technology and life sciences. Businesses with offices in city centre Liverpool include the law firm DWF, the real estate and commercial property company CBRE and the professional services group Hill Dickinson.
We offer the following office types & services:
Liverpool is among the most culturally vibrant and energetic cities in England and there is always an enormous amount to see and do in the area. Great places to visit include the art gallery and museum Tate Liverpool, the Merseyside Maritime Museum and the Beatles Story exhibition centre. Albert Dock is also well worth a visit as a historic waterfront area of the city built in the mid 1800’s. There are excellent restaurants in Liverpool too, with some of the best associated with popular hotel brands like the Exchange Hilton and the Malmaison Brasserie. For unusual but brilliant places to go for a drink, try Alma de Cuba or The Cavern Club.
Prices typically are all-inclusive of utilities costs, broadband, meeting room access, and are exempt from business rates (package varies per office).
