The county of Oxfordshire is the heart of the education and commercial region of England. Throughout its history, Oxfordshire has always been famous as a major centre for learning with the celebrated University of Oxford as its centrepiece. Modern day Oxfordshire has also become home to a number of industries and commercial establishments, which complements the rich history and culture that it has always been known for. From Broughton Castle and Heythrop Hall to Wheatley Windmill and Cotswold Wildlife Park & Garden, there are many popular attractions and places of interest in and around Oxfordshire.
Oxfordshire has a number of major businesses operating out of executive suites and facilities within its bounds. This includes the likes of BMW, the manufacturers of Mini Cooper cars, Kraft Foods and the headquarters of Crest Hotels. CPM Group and Travelodge also have their offices in the area alongside other professionals and businesses. Oxfordshire has its fair-share of office space dedicated to lawyers, financial consultants, business advisors, trade offices, charitable organisations, printing presses and publishing houses. There are also a number of web development firms and software development companies here.
This area is flooded with cultural entertainment venues in the field of music, dance, comedy and more. New Theatre, O’Reilly Theatre and the Burton Taylor Theatre are just some of the venues that have live stage shows, musical performances and plays throughout the year. Places like the Phoenix Cinema and Vue Cinema offer the latest films in independent or multi-screen venues. Eating out in Oxfordshire is a pleasure as it allows you to taste food from all over the world. Jamie Oliver has his Italian restaurants, Jamie’s Italian, in the county while Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons is a two-Michelin star French restaurant owned by Raymond Blanc. From Indian and Chinese to African and South American, there is something to suit everyone’s palate in Oxfordshire.
The M40 is one of the main motorways connecting the county to the rest of England while a number of trunk roads also pass through the area, including the A40, A34, A4144 and others. These roads offer excellent connectivity for drivers, buses, taxis and coaches. The county has a number of railway lines running through it, including the Chiltern Main Line, the CrossCountry Line and others. The main stations are in Oxford, Chipping Norton, Banbury and Kidlington. London Oxford Airport is the biggest air-link to national and international travel in the county.
Prices typically are all-inclusive of utilities costs, broadband, meeting room access, and are exempt from business rates (package varies per office).
