St Paul’s is best known for its cathedral, which is one of London’s most famous and popular tourist attractions. St Paul’s Cathedral is over 300 years old and is one of the most visited landmarks in the whole of the UK, dominating the London skyline with its famous domed shape. However, the area also has plenty to offer for businesses, sitting as it does at the heart of the city’s most significant professional and financial districts.
St Paul’s is home to the Bank of England, which is another famous London landmark and one of the best-known banks in the entire world. The Gherkin is also within walking distance and is a major financial building in the city.
Although St Paul’s is definitely one of the older areas of the city, it also has some of the most modern and impressive office and commercial developments in the city. This makes for a fascinating place to work and offers a real air of style and elegance to any meeting based here. There are also excellent networking opportunities throughout the area with many major companies based here.
St Paul’s Cathedral is obviously one of the places to visit when in the area of St Paul’s, as it is one of London’s most famous attractions. The Cathedral dates back to the late 17th century and was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, with rebuilding completed after the Great Fire of London. The cathedral has a rich history with plenty to learn, whether you are religious or not.
For something completely different, Paternoster Square sits right by St Paul’s and is an immaculately clean and modern square full of modern restaurants and shops, as well as outdoor seating. This would be a great place to relax and take down time or to take clients for networking after a meeting.
For a modern, trendy experience, Hush Brasserie is a warehouse-chic restaurant which serves a range of British-influenced dishes to suit any tastes. One of the best things about Hush is that it serves food all day long, from breakfast to dinner, so that businesses working or hosting meetings in the area can easily pop in and out as they please.
Yo! Sushi is a popular fast food option with branches all over London, and serves a range of sushi and Japanese dishes. Customers can choose their food from the revolving belt that passes through the restaurant, or order from the open kitchen. The chain also runs sushi cookery classes; great for a team bonding activity!
Prices typically are all-inclusive of utilities costs, broadband, meeting room access, and are exempt from business rates (package varies per office).
