The town of Bridgnorth is in Shropshire in the West Midlands. Named after a bridge on the River Severn, the town is split into two parts, which consist of High Town and Low Town based on their position and elevation in respect to the River Severn. The town was referenced back in 895, which provides an insight into the length of its history.
