Cuisine in the coastal regions of Alabama revolves around fried seafood. There are many local oyster bars, and shrimp is a popular favorite. Alabama barbeque shouldn’t be missed. There are many options for BBQ meat, but pork is always the most popular option in this area.

Transport Information

The largest airport in Alabama is the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The state can be accessed through five interstate highways. There is bus service throughout the state, and Amtrak’s Crescent line offers daily train service throughout the state. There are runs to New Orleans, Washington DC, and New York City. The best way to get around the state is by automobile.
