Aurora is the third largest city in the state of Colorado, USA, following behind Denver and Colorado Springs. Situated between the counties Arapahoe, Adams, and Douglas, it is part of the Denver Metropolitan Area. In terms of demographics, the city ranks amongst the sixty most populated cities in the US, although it has only about the half of the population of Denver. The lovers of art, music and history will find many options for entertainment at the Aurora Fox Theater & Arts Center, the Aurora History Museum or they can attend one of the concerts of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. Aurora is served by the Deventer International Airport (DIA), which is only about twenty miles away and accommodates domestic and international carriers. The city is extremely well connected with Interstate 470, 70 and 225 all running through Aurora. Besides driving, access to the area is made possible by the RTD light rail and bus networks. Auroroa is serviced by the H-line on the light rail network, which stops at Nine Mile Station in the city’s south. The major bus stops in the city are at Alameda/Havana, Centrepoint/Sable, Olympic Park and Nine Mile stations.
