Transport Information

Winterthur is just 15 minutes away by car or train from Zurich Airport. The airport runs direct trains to Winterthur. You can also travel by train to Winterthur from Berne, Geneva, St. Gallen, Munich, or Schaffhausen with the Swiss Federal Railway service. Within the city, Canton Zurich provides a bus system, trains, and boats for lake travel. The city is located at the intersection of the A1 and A4, providing direct links to Zurich, St Gallen and the German border.
