Cheadle Hulme is a small town located in the metropolitan borough of Stockport, just 7.5 miles from the city of Manchester. Its close proximity to the city has ensured that the town has a booming economy, with local businesses benefitting from the visitor traffic that spills over to the suburbs. While most of the surrounding areas were badly damaged during the Second World War, Cheadle Hulme remained largely unaffected and continues to prosper to date. Bramall Hall, which is considered to be the most prestigious historical structure in the Conservation Area, can be found here and attracts many sightseers.

The Gusto Restaurant lives up to its name, serving superb local fare that bursts with flavour. If you’re in the mood for some delectable Italian dishes, you should head to Olive Press instead.

Transport Information

Cheadle Hulme has its own train station, with three National Rail services running every hour between the town and Manchester. The station also provides access to other locations such as Stoke and Crewe on the Strafford to Manchester Lines. Manchester Airport is a short distance away, connected to the town through frequent coach services. The area is very close to the A34 Cheadle Bypass, providing road connectivity to other parts of Greater Manchester. Local buses provide a simple and convenient way to get around town.
