West Palm Beach is the seat of Palm Beach County, Florida. It is located in the southeastern part of the state on the Atlantic Ocean and has a territory of about fifty-eight square miles. Transport Information

Getting to the city by plane is quite easy, as it has its own airport - Palm Beach International Airport, located a five minutes drive from downtown West Palm Beach. It is serviced by US and Canadian companies, providing connections with international flights. An alternative airport is North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport, located about twenty miles away and serving private and charter flights. The city has some Amtrak service Tri-Rail, running between Miami and West Palm Beach. By car the city is accessible through Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike. PalmTran and Greyhound bus services provide connections between different cities in the area. Getting around is possible in the following ways: car rental, taxis, buses (PalmTran, Molly’s Trolley) and Tri-Rail train.
