The Charles River Basin runs between Boston and Cambridge, in the state of Massachusetts. It is a planned and developed landscape that runs for 19 miles of river shoreline. It includes over 20 parks and natural areas and stretches from the New Dam at the Charlestown Bridge, to the dam near Watertown Square. The area is often simply known as ‘The Basin’.
