One of the historic sites in the area is Olvera Street. The oldest house in LA is located in this area, where the city was founded as El Pueblo de Los Angeles. Transport Information

Downtown Los Angeles is the hub of the city’s freeway network and Metro rapid transit system. The Financial District is served by the Metro Rail Red Line and Blue Line, with the 7th St/Metro Center as the primary station. There are many airport options for flying into the Downtown Financial District of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles International Airport, offers international and domestic flights within 19 miles of the Los Angeles city center. There is some Amtrak train service to LA, with service to the San Francisco Bay area, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Albuquerque, New Orleans, Tucson, San Antonio, and Kansas City.
